I can definitely relate to the father in this, only my "insanity" was induced by alcohol and self loathing. I hurt my children's hearts and many other's. While I may never reunite with MY beloved "Gwendyvere", I pray she is blessed in her new life and that I never meant to hurt her. I, like Arthur, have lain down my "armour" and now am sober and learning to love others as well as myself with the love that God teaches us. So long as there is breath in one's body and faith in one's heart, that person CAN triumph over even the greatest of challenges. Jesus really DOES save...He saved ME!
Tell me your saved when in heaven. You have a savior that saves from sin not in sin. You may say but for the grace of God. We've all been deceived but verse 6 in revelation tells us he's made us kings and priests it's a king who has a kingdom so he brings us up and is the king of kings. What a wonderful saviour we have to love us so much oh to see him as he is.
@@danmoen755 dude this show is about a bunch of people with closed hearts lashing out in pain making more hearts close up and how God tries to get people to open their hearts up to let the love in.....being saved means saved from yourself because you are stopping the love from flowing and you need love like you need air, if you die without love in your heart its probably the greatest tragedy of all

This show was really great. One of my all-time favorites. And it dealt with positive messages. As corny as it sounds, this world could learn a lot from this show.
The terms corny and square were actually weaponized against the people. Corny meaning you must not leave the farm much and square meaning wholesome well-rounded and good. Look where we are at in society. It was all a plan to destroy the family, church and home.
Geez...this episode made me cry. I remember watching this series as a child and I've been binge watching it now because it soothes my soul. Thank you so much. God bless
Ron Moody's acting was very moving. At first, I thought oh geez - what is this eccentric character all about, but as the story developed - Arthur provoked emotions that we all could relate to. There is no greater love than the one you share with your child.

Nothing easier than that. Tiny things can change the day of a whole community. Good deeds travel far. The next time you are at a gas station or when you buy a snack smile and give a little compliment Even silly little things like "Wow! I've never seen a pancake being flipped that professionally." will brighten the person's day. His/her elevated mood will be contagious. And not to forget it will elevate your mood too. Kindness doesn't cost a thing but it is so powerful. If you are grumpy and mean to people you'll give every person a bit of your grumpiness. Who wants that? So thanks for considering doing good. We all need your kindness.
One of my favorite episodes! Landon was so talented! I had no idea Landon wrote and produced the show until I started watching again! Highway to Heaven and Twilight Zone are my favorites! This episode is very poetic!
My father lived below this Castle in Malibu, California for years before he drank himself out of our home and moved to Las Vegas to die at age 61, and probably thought he was King Arthur at the time and this Castle 'BURNED TO THE GROUND' in a horrific fire. Sadly. However, it is great Michael Landon also a Malibu Resident and who had a Park, Little League park and beach-side walkway named after him on Pacific Coast Highway, had a chance to film here for all to see for empathy.
